Training Programs

Contingency Now's training programs are Aligned With DRII's Common Body Of Knowledge and support both public and private federally required mandates.
Earn One (1) CPE Credit Per Hour Attended

Contingency Now offers three mutually exclusive Business Continuity Training (BCT) programs to meet your operational needs. Our BCT programs will help your team understand the key components to develop, build and implement an end-to-end Business Continuity Plan (BCP) or Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP). We can help your management and operations personnel build confidence in their ability to recover your enterprise within defined recovery windows due to an unforeseen interruption event. If your team seeks enhanced knowledge of business continuity, continuity of operations, impact assessments and/or business recovery, then our training programs are a must for your team!

All rates stated below do not include travel and living expenses for the trainer.

Three-Day Training Programs

  1. Background, history, & current state of BC, DR & COOP
  2. What is continuity planning?
  3. Selling & positioning BC, DR & COOP internally
  4. Risk Evaluation & Control
  5. Business Impact Analysis (Assessment from Contingency Now)
  6. Developing continuity strategies
  7. Emergency response & operations
  8. Developing & implementing continuity plans
  9. Awareness & training
  10. Maintaining & exercising the action plan
  11. Public relations & crisis management

Three-day Training Program Particulars

  • $1,295 per person
  • Seven calendar-day cancellation training policy is in effect. Less $50.00 cancellation fee per person(s) unable to attend
  • All training can be done at the customer site. Requires presentation machine and white board
  • Requires students to be present from 8:30am to 5:00pm each day
  • One-hour lunch break with 15 minute break in the morning and 15 minute break in the afternoon
  • Up to five (5) quizzes and three (3) breakout sessions

One-day Training Program Particulars

Topics covered are the same as with the three (3) day training but with less detail:
  • $430.00 per person
  • Three (3) calendar-day cancellation training policy is in effect. Less      $50.00 cancellation fee per person(s) unable to attend
  • All training can be done at the client's site. Requires presentation machine and/or white board
  • One-hour lunch break with 15 minute break in the morning and 15 minute break in the afternoon
  • Requires students to be present from 8:30am to 5:00pm for one (1) day
  • One-hour lunch break with 15 minute break in the morning and 15 minute break in the afternoon

Half-day Training Program Particulars

Topics covered are based upon specific client needs and requests. Contingency Now will work with you to determine the best topic(s) to be covered.
  • $215.00 per person
  • One (1) calendar-day cancellation training policy is in effect. Less $50.00 cancellation fee per person(s) unable to attend
  • All training can be done at the client's site. Requires presentation machine and/or white board
  • One-hour lunch break with 15 minute break in the morning and 15 minute break in the afternoon
  • Requires students to be present from 8:00am to 12:00pm, or from 1:00pm to 5:00pm for one-half day
  • One 15 minute break
